Peter had a bath he rarely used with a tile surround, which he didn’t like much. It looked tired , and the bath wasn’t convenient to shower in.
What he wanted was : a modern shower cubicle, fairly low profile instead at a reasonable price.
We decided to remove the bath , to put a shower cubicle in where the bath was, and tile over the existing tiles ( cheaper ) only within the shower cubicle. We had to drill a new waste hole out of the house, because the old bath waste exited too high.
Peter said he would do some of the flooring to save more money, so I just did the shower cubicle, pipework, valving and waste….oh and tray. It was a rewarding project.
